Bookings & Reservations
Booking Process
Bookings can be made online through our Website after you create and log in to your account.
At the time of booking, you will be required to select your dates, room type, number of guests, and any other details requested.
A booking is considered “confirmed” only after:
- You have completed the payment using our payment gateway, and
- You receive a booking confirmation email/notification from us.
Information Accuracy
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all booking details (dates, number of guests, contact details, etc.) are correct.
If you notice any mistake, you must contact us immediately via email or phone. Changes are subject to availability, our policies, and any applicable charges.
Check-in Requirements
At check-in, guests may be required to:
- Present a valid government-issued photo ID (as per Indian regulations).
- Provide booking confirmation details.
We reserve the right to refuse check-in if:
- Required identification is not provided;
- The person checking in is under 18 years of age without a responsible adult; or
- There is any suspicion of fraudulent booking or misuse.
Room Rates, Taxes & Payments
Room Rates
Room rates displayed on the Website are subject to availability and may vary based on dates, season, occupancy, and other factors.
We reserve the right to change room rates at any time. However, the rate applicable to your booking will be the rate shown at the time of final payment and confirmation.
Taxes & Other Charges
Rates may be inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (such as GST) and other charges.
Any applicable taxes, fees, or charges will be displayed at the time of booking and added to the final payable amount, where required by law.
Payment Gateway
All online payments are processed through a payment gateway provided by ICICI Bank (or its authorised partners).
By making a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the payment gateway.
We do not store your card details (such as full card number, CVV) on our servers. Payment information is handled directly by the payment gateway.
Payment Failures & Disputes
If the payment fails but is debited from your bank/card, you should first check with your bank/payment provider.
If you do not receive a booking confirmation despite a successful debit, please contact us with proof of payment.
In case of any dispute regarding payments, our decision, based on payment gateway and bank records, will be final and binding, subject to applicable laws.

Cancellations, Modifications & Refunds
Your rights regarding cancellation, modification, and refund of bookings are governed by our Refund Policy, which is a part of these Terms.

Guest Conduct & House Rules
When staying at Yao Base Camp, you agree to follow all house rules and instructions communicated by our staff, which may include but are not limited to:
1. Prohibition of illegal activities
- No involvement in unlawful activities on the property.
- No possession or use of illegal substances.
2. Safety & security
- Complying with safety guidelines (use of balconies, common areas, etc.).
- Respecting the privacy and safety of other guests and staff.
3. Noise & disturbance
- Avoiding excessive noise or disturbance, especially during designated quiet hours.
4. Damage to property
- You are responsible for any damage to rooms, furnishings, or property caused by you or your accompanying guests.
- We reserve the right to charge you for repair/replacement as per our assessment and applicable laws.
5. Compliance with local laws
- Guests are expected to comply with all applicable laws and local regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel a booking, or request a guest to leave the property without refund if:
- There is a significant breach of house rules or these Terms;
- The guest’s behaviour is abusive, threatening, unsafe, or causes disturbance or damage;
- There is any indication of fraudulent booking or misuse of our services.
